About Me
I am a multidisciplinary Artist/Designer, working in mixed media to create unique artistic expressions, installation and spatial designs with over a decade of experience. I like to play on memories, that borrow from my past, forgotten people, crafts and objects. The pieces are created around human figures that embody lived experiences.
I also founded my creative practice Joint Studio in 2016. I create unique environments through Design interventions, Installations, Lighting and Furniture pieces. I've had the pleasure of managing multiple teams, mentoring young designers and enabling them to create some of the most iconic experiential designs in India. ​​My distinct experience gives me a unique outlook into my work which acts as a bridge between Art & Design. Over the years, I've nurtured my artistic vision, a style that developed into a visual representation of me i.e., Nimisha.

This is where my design foundation and design thinking developed. I specialized in craft reinterpretation & furniture design which peeked my interest in spatial design. I applied my art knowledge to build a unique design style.

I briefly worked in wedding designs, this unique experience gave me motivation to learn about spaces and increase my knowledge in spatial design.

I discovered the world of Interior design, all my art and design knowledge came into practice and I could translate my visions into spaces and experiences.

Worked as an Interior Designer at Studio Lotus, Delhi.
Experience (Creative Practice)
Established an experiential art & spatial design practice.
The practice focused on converting artistic visions into tactile experiences. This is where art and design intersected, a cohesive studio for creating art installations, spatial design and experience design.
